A kindergarten in Sydney, Australia, needed to break down architectural barriers and create a safe play environment for children.
NOVA Elevators’ local partner Direct Lifts Australia has installed a mixed indoor / outdoor panoramic elevator Suite Lift also taking care of securing the surrounding area.
Where was the Panoramic Lift Suite Lift installed?
The installation took place in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, inside an environment that hosts a nursery school.
Why the Suite Lift?
The customer needed to install an elevator that would break the architectural barriers to access to the kindergarten on the lower level, making it easier for parents and relatives to move around with strollers or wheelchairs.
The essential requirements of the project were, therefore, safety and accessibility.
NOVA Elevators was chosen by the client because the Company was able to take care of the project promptly, ensuring the efficient management of the various phases in terms of safety and in compliance with the regulations, from the masonry to the installation of the system, passing through the ad hoc installation inside the metal shaft.
How was the Suite Lift built?
The panoramic Suite hydraulic lift was chosen and housed in a mixed design: a panoramic metal structure mixed between inside and outdside.
The features of the Suite Lift installed in the nursery are:
- 400 kg load capacity;
- 2 stops;
- cabin finishes in Tennessee Oak with double access and glass panels on the sides of the panel;
- panoramic automatic doors;
- LCD display at landing.
The secret of a perfect installation
In response to the customer demand to secure the building from the beginning of the installation through the whole building phases, especially concerning the metal structure, NOVA Elevators started the design with the express process, building the Suite Lift in 2weeks and sending it by air freight.
