Four Round Elevator shafts for the tallest skydeck in Europe and Russia

Round Elevator? Here you are the ingredients for a perfect recipe: 462 meters, 87 floors, 8 elevators, 6 countries, 1 international team.

NOVA Elevators contributed to design of the vertical transportation inside the Laktha Center with 4 round and 4 square metal shafts for elevator that will be positioned between the 82nd and the 86th floors, at around 360 meters of height.

The Lakhta Center spire will house the highest observation deck in Russia and Europe and it is a large-scale project of a modern business centre.

A working team formed by technicians and engineers from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Ucraina, and Rumenia contributed to the project.

The realization of this custom-made elevator shafts for the Laktha Centre skyscraper was possible thanks to the commitment, expertise and detailed project management by NOVA Elevators’ Technical Department.

The Project Management was coordinated by Engineer Filippo Nicoli (NOVA’s Technical Director) and his experieneced team, who were able to provide a lifting solution:

– in compliance with the highest engineering standards;

– with a delivery time diminished by 50% compared to that normally needed for a big Special Project;

– a complete service that complies with the assembly needs and the aesthetic architecture of the Laktha Center.

Before the delivery, NOVA Elevators engineers and installers pre-assembled the round elevator structure, they performed final controls and put in practice the 30-years’ experience in the field to care for every detail.
